The Blue Line Corridor is already making visible strides, and the coalition itself is proof of the commitment to advancing this vision. Early progress demonstrates momentum and what’s possible when partners come together with shared purpose.

The Blue Line Corridor is in the center of Prince George’s County, Maryland, which borders the eastern boundary of Washington, D.C. The Corridor stretches 5 miles and encompasses three local municipalities- The Town of Capitol Heights, The Town of Fairmont Heights, and The City of Seat Pleasant - as well as a number of unincorporated areas. It is served by four stops on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Blue/Silver lines: Capitol Heights, Addison Rd./Seat Pleasant, Morgan Blvd, and Downtown Largo.

Our Partners
The Blue Line Corridor Coalition is being led with the community — in partnership with municipalities, residents, businesses, civic leaders, and state and county stakeholders. The Coalition's co-conveners ensure every stakeholder has a seat at the table.

“The Blue Line Corridor is full of potential – and the people who live and work here should be the ones shaping its future. The creation of this new coalition marks an important step forward in ensuring that the critical development underway here is shaped by the community and is centered around shared economic opportunity and the local entrepreneurs who reflect the diversity and strength of Prince George’s County. I look forward to continuing to work with our state and local partners to drive further investment in this work and make this shared vision a reality.” - Senator Van Hollen
